God’s forgiveness has a weighty gravity on the human spirit. This is because Jesus saves us from being slaves of sin. Up until today, no matter how sinful the world is, God’s goodness still prevails. No matter how bewildered and confused our culture is today, God’s kindness to bring us back to righteousness still abounds and holds sway. As Luke 19:10 states, “For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost” Marilyn Taplin presents this verse this way; “I believe human beings became spiritually lost in the wilderness of sin because the same two conditions were present in their relationship to God. First, humankind lost sight of God and could not see what God was like or where He stood on this serious issue of human sexuality. Second, we did not know the path we had walked that took us so far away from God and into this present murkiness.”
Ultimately, as long as we can see God and know the pathway back to God, we will be healed. All the tears will turn to laughter and all the pain and sorrows will become a comfort. Jeremiah 30:17
“For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds…” God’s amazing powers can restore us to health. Essentially, once our land finds its way back to God, we can all live in His presence and go back to living a life obeying His doctrines. All will be well.
2 Chronicles 7:4
“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” Marilyn Taplin explained that Christianity must remove sin from people. God will then use these people to remove sin from the earth. Finally, once the sin has ended, our land will be healed
Exodus 23:25
“But you shall serve the Lord your God, and He will bless your bread and your water; and I will remove sickness from your midst.” Serve and worship the Lord, and Him only in the only way and manner he directed us to. Only then, He shall bless thy bread and thy water. He will take sickness away from the midst of thee.
Through God’s Son, Jesus Christ, we are able to lean on our Father for healing. Since His sacrificial death on the cross, we were granted God’s forgiveness. And because of this, we are brought to a fellowship with our Almighty Father—owing to the reason why every believer is sentenced to confess and repent sin.
